1. What is the purpose of Hidgets?
Hidgets allows you to display your health-related data from Apple’s Health app directly on your Lock Screen, Today View and Home Screen for quick and convenient access.
2. How do I add widgets to the Lock Screen?
Adding widgets to the Lock Screen is simple:
- Unlock your iPhone and stay on the Lock Screen.
- Long-press on the Lock Screen until the customization mode appears.
- Tap “Customize.”
- Select the area where you want to add widgets (below the time or above, depending on your device).
- Scroll to find the Hidgets in the widget list.
- Tap on the widget you want to add, or drag it into the desired slot.
- Tap “Done” to save your changes.

3. How do I add widgets to the Home Screen?
Here are the steps to add widgets to your Home Screen:
- Go to your Home Screen and long-press on an empty space until the icons start to jiggle.
- Tap the “+” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Scroll through the available apps or search for Hidgets.
- Select the widget size you prefer (small, medium, or large).
- Tap “Add Widget” or drag it to your desired location on the Home Screen.
- Press the Home Button (or swipe up on newer models) to exit edit mode.

4. Can I customize the data displayed in the widgets?
Yes, you can customize the data displayed:
- Open Hidgets.
- Navigate to the widget on the My Widgets list and tap it.
- Make the changes you want to make.
- Hit the Save button on the top to save the changes, or swipe the view down to undo the changes.

5. How do I remove a widget?
To remove a widget from the Lock Screen:
- Long-press on the Lock Screen and tap “Customize.”
- Tap the “-” icon on the widget you want to remove.
- Tap “Done” to save the changes.
To remove a widget from the Home Screen:
- Long-press the widget until the context menu appears.
- Tap “Remove Widget.”
- Confirm by tapping “Remove.”

6. Why is the widget not updating?
If the widget is not updating:
- Ensure the App has the necessary permissions to access HealthKit data. Go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices, and ensure Hidgets has access.
- Check your device’s battery-saving settings, as widgets may not update in Low Power Mode.
- Restart your device to refresh widget data.
7. Why are my widgets taking so long to update?
Widget updates are controlled by iOS, which determines the frequency of updates based on system conditions.
8. Why do I not see Hidgets as an option inside the widgets list?
After installing the app, it may take a few minutes for iOS to recognize the new installation. If it doesn’t appear, try restarting your device.
9. Is my data secure?
Yes. Hidgets does not save, send, or store any of your data externally. All data is pulled directly from Apple’s HealthKit and displayed locally on your device.
10. Can I change the size of the widgets?
On the Home Screen, you can choose from small, medium, and large widget sizes during the widget selection process. However, Lock Screen widgets have a fixed size due to iOS design constraints.
11. Are widgets visible to others if my phone is locked?
Yes, Lock Screen widgets are visible to anyone who can see your phone’s Lock Screen. If privacy is a concern, you can:
- Remove the widgets from your Lock Screen.
- Configure settings to hide sensitive data from appearing in the widgets.
